More Birds at Taylor Lake Park

Every other Saturday or so I drive to Taylor Lake Park for a racewalking lesson with Bonnie Stein (see her website in my links section). I usually arrive early, just after sunrise so I can photograph the birds when they're most active. Last Saturday I spotted this Great Egret perched on a sign, staring carefully into the water, probably hunting fish. Later, I spotter two alligators, one was just over 5 feet long. An egret would make a good meal. Click on the picture to see more bird photos from Taylor Lake Park.
